Giving Back to the Communities Where We Work and Live

Keeping people safe and businesses running. That is the Everbridge mission that fuels our commitment to customers, and the daily passion of our employees. Our solutions help enterprises, hospitals, universities, state and local governments, and even entire countries to identify, manage and respond to the many critical events which put the safety of their employees or residents at risk, or disrupt daily operations. Being a part of a mission-based organization, #TeamEverbridge, or Bridgers, are focused on making a global impact through our platform and technology, but we always make time to give back to the communities where we work and live.

With almost 4 in 10 Californians living near or below poverty levels, our Pasadena team recently identified several opportunities to help families in need. This Summer, employees from the Los Angeles area volunteered with several groups including Habitat for Humanity and the LA Food Bank. Team Everbridge also worked with the Union Rescue Mission, a local non-profit that helps men and women experiencing poverty to find a permanent home.

Also, this summer, Bridgers from Everbridge’s Burlington, MA office volunteered at Cradles to Crayons, a non-profit whose mission is to provide kids with the essentials they need, free of charge. Our team spent two hours working in an assembly line to stuff backpacks with school supplies including notebooks, folders, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, as well as handmade notes of encouragement to comfort children on their first day of school. Everbridge volunteers prepared over 1,000 backpacks, which will be distributed to children living in poverty throughout the Boston area so that they can have a great start to the upcoming school year!
